SmartBoard technology improves students' math scores at St. Joseph's Villa
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – In June of 2008 , Toshiba Business Solutions, with the help of AV Solutions, partnered with St. Joseph’s Villa to develop a way to upgrade the Villa’s educational facilities. Rather than providing the Villa with pens, pencils and other basic supplies, AV Solutions upgraded Mike Kwiatkowski’s math classroom with a SmartBoard.

World's Largest LCD TV comes to Rochester
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (September 14, 2009) – The world's largest LCD TV with LED backlight display made its Rochester debut at AV Solutions' audio-video technology showcase, Wednesday, September 16, 2009.
Samsung's 82 inch TV (model 820DXn) is a revolution in AV technology because it uses less energy. Unlike older models that use mercury, making them hazardous to the environment, the new LED backlight display and improved cooling panel allows the unit to run longer, brighter and greener.
You won't find this unit for sale in Best Buy's weekly flyer. The cost to own the unit is $47,500. Due to its size and cost, the 820DXn is typically purchased by businesses and retail stores to be used as a display. However, some people have purchased for home theatre use.
